| Some little girl’s dream came true with DRC’s elaborately designed life-size “Garden Cottage”, our contribution to the Dreams Happen biennial fundraiser for Rebuilding Together Peninsula. Every other year, local architects and contractors team up to construct unique children’s playhouses that are auctioned off to the highest bidder during the Dreams Happen Auction and Gala held at Stanford Shopping Center. Before being auctioned, the 12 extraordinary playhouses are displayed at Stanford Mall for 10 days. Our “Garden Cottage” was one of the top three sellers at the 2005 auction, bringing in $47,000 for Rebuilding Together! |
